Our Franchise Spotlight for this month built herself a legacy. Veronica Lewis, a franchise owner from Mississippi, has been in the Jani-King business since 2006. Over the past 16 years, Veronica has built not only a successful business for herself but also a beautiful life with her husband, Robert, their children, and grandchildren. Before she became her own boss, Veronica attended Jackson State University, where she majored in business. Before she purchased her franchise, she was previously employed by a large power company. After Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, she knew she needed to make a change in her career. She was reading the newspaper one Sunday and noticed an ad for Jani-King Commercial Cleaning. With her passion for cleaning, she knew that this opportunity was the one for her.

Our Franchise Spotlight for this month has what it takes to continuously build their success. Eighteen years ago, Shawn Huguet answered an ad in his local newspaper about purchasing a Jani-King commercial cleaning franchise. At the time, all Shawn knew was that from a young age, he wanted to own his own business and have control over his own freedom.
Mark Rudison and his team have been working relentlessly at Louisiana State University to keep the stadiums clean and in top-notch condition. Mark is a model Franchise Owner who is great at communicating with his business owners and providing exceptional service. On top of his other accounts, Mark and his team keep LSU's campus shining bright.
This month we are recognizing Taurus and Sherika Owens of The TSO Company. In July of 2021, Taurus and Shericka decided to become business owners and open a Jani-King franchise of their own. Since then, they have fully embraced the Jani-King brand. From day one, they have trusted the process, put in the work, and now they are servicing 19 different accounts across Shreveport and the surrounding areas. Shericka and Taurus always welcome questions, concerns, and any feedback from clients, peers, and their regional office. Hard conversations aren’t actually hard because of their willingness and dedication to getting things done the right way. They proudly represent the Jani-King brand by making service their mission and clean their statement.
This month’s spotlight is a man of many talents, but being his own boss as a Jani-King Franchise Owner is among his favorites. With the help of his wife, Sharron, Garrett Benoît has been a strong force in the Pensacola, Florida region. Garrett and Sharron decided to become franchise owners in March of 2016, but that hasn’t stopped them from pursuing their other interests! Sharron is a retired government official travel specialist of over 20 years, while Garrett is a FAA Commercial Instrument Multiengine Licensed Pilot with over 13,000 hours. While running their Jani-King franchise and piloting, Garrett is also retired and consulting on special projects for concrete, masonry, and technical support.
This month’s Franchise Spotlight is a force to be reckoned with. Ashley Cox from Jani-King of Mobile hit the ground running in December of 2021 and hasn’t looked back since! Not only is Ashley a dedicated business owner, but she is also a devoted mother who loves to travel and spend time with her family. Ashley decided to become a franchise owner in this industry based on her years of cleaning service experience. She says, "I was always commended for the services that I provided while working for others, and I decided that I could venture out on my own to create a business for myself; something to pass along to my children."
Our Franchise Owner spotlight is on a 30-year-old full-time mom and franchise owner from South Louisiana, Ms. Karlie Adams. In between managing the day-to-day operations of her business, she still finds the time to be a volunteer firefighter and the coach of her daughters’ t-ball team.
